La Otracina was formed in Brooklyn, NY in the summer of 2003 by drummer Adam Kriney and guitarist Joshua Anzano (now of Tee Pee Records’ Titan) to explore the deepest and most surreal realms of psychedelia, prog, and krautrock, with a major emphasis on improvisational exploration and an uncompromising musical energy. While taking heavy nods from psychedelic forefathers such as Flower Travellin’ Band, Guru Guru, King Crimson, Neu!, Yes, Agitation Free, Blue Cheer, Amon Duul, etc, the music of La Otracina has also been rooted in a deep understanding , appreciation, and influence of ’60s  free-jazz/improvisation, the shape-shifting wizardry of classical minimalism, and the extreme music of the Japanese noise/psych underground. La Otracina’s brew of cosmic music is a ride across the galaxy, a slice of magical lemon wedges, a rainbow of crystallized comet dust.   (sursa:©http://www.last.fm/music/La+Otracina )

Kadavar is a Doom/Classic/Stoner Rock Band From Berlin, Germany

Kadavar play a great blend of Doom, Psych, Stoner and Classic Rock into one big huge melting pot that will have fans of Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Hawkwind and other great 70s based Rock bands rejoicing for this superb band.

OK they might not be doing anything original and their record label agrees by saying “(You can’t reinvent the wheel but you can roll it”). And you know what. It’s actually true. Kadavar take influence from the many great bands listed above but add their own take on the many genres.

Their debut S/T album in a 33 minute blast of hard rocking riffs that will take you back to the good old days of High Voltage Rock where the riff was king. There is nothing pretentious about this superb album. Just 3 dudes have a great time rocking out and paying homage to great bands of the past. These guys are getting serious praise from critics and fans alike and its not hard to see why. This album just pisses all over the competition. Plain and Simple. If you want top-notch Doom/Classic/Stoner Rock riffs then this is place to be. Awesome stuff. ( sursa: © http://thesludgelord.blogspot.com/2012/03/kadavar-st-album-review.html)

A NIGHT INTO THE VOID: 13th STONER NIGHT

A NIGHT INTO THE VOID este  mandru sa gazduiasca  primul Fest.

A NIGHT INTO THE VOID reprezintă o prima initiativa de a familiariza publicul clujean cu stilul heavy-psychedelia a stoner/desert rock-ului.

Unele dintre titulaturile prezente în playlist vor fi:Pentagram, Electric Wizard, 35007, Gomer Pyle, Tool, Hour of 13, Sancta Sanctorum, Devils Blood, Ghost, The Egocentrics, KYUSS, Sound Arcade, Vibravoid, Causa Sui, Colour Haze, Electric Moon, The Sword, Hypnos 69, Shrinebuilder, OM, Pharao Overlord, Sleep, Earthless, Dragonauta,Ufomammut, Iron Butterfly, Hawkwind, Vanilla Fudge, Van Der Graaf Generator ,Orange Goblin, Karma To Burn, Stonebride, My Sleeping Karma, The Machine, Dozer, Fu Manchu, Nebula, 1000Mods, Glowsun, Sungrazer, Major Kong, Sgt. Sunshine etc.
