Daniel Blutmann (aka Daniel Sun, DJ/Producer) is one of the most passionate music lovers South Africa & Ibiza are experiencing to date. Born and bred in Argentina, Buenos Aires. He started out at a young age throwing parties with the help of 2 close friends over a period of 5 years, which is when he discovered his passion for music and his ability to make a dance floor come alive. He has constantly be in touch with the music industry and after many years, decided in January 2008 to put his head phones back on, turn up the music and to continue doing what his soul was always destined to do. Daniel Sun’s intrinsic understanding of all genres of music shines through and you can always count on him pumping out the speakers the most resent and up to date sounds being produced around the world. He is famous for his groovy and energetic sound present in all of his commercial, mainstream or underground sets. It is his secret recipe of sounds included in all of his sets that distinguishes him from the rest. 

 

Daniel Sun believes every great produced track has a unique burst of energy and is committed whenever he is playing to deliver nothing less, taking his fans on a journey they will never forget. Daniel Sun’s known insight, passion, understanding and knowledge of electronic music immediately opened up doors to him in the South African club scene. Earning him residencies in the best clubs and placements in every DJ line up of the hottest events around the country such as Kiss, H2O main STAGE (Resident), Rock da girls Xtreme, Fu-cha gathering, Sutra F**k me I’m Famous and many more. He has shared the stage with the talented internationally known band GOLDFISH and all of South Africa’s finest Djs. Daniel Sun was producing and performing in Ibiza for the whole summer season of 2009, getting session slots for EUROPAFM & Ibiza Global Radio. 

 

During March & April 2010 he was touring France. Back to South Africa , he is currently producing and performing around South Africa. Daniel Sun is constantly sourcing different ways of gaining insight and inspiration to get to the ultimate level of dance music. Making sure to frequently visit the greatest clubs in the world such as the Cocoon parties at Amnesia, Monza at Privilege and Ushuaia Restaurant/Club, Pacha, Privilege and Space, absorbing the absolute finest quality of music being played today all over the world by renowned DJ’s and producers Loco Dice, Luciano, Ricardo Vilallobos, Marco Carola, Cassy, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, Erick Morillo, Smokin Jo, Roger Sanchez, Sander kleinenberg and many more.
