Roisin Murphy se intoarce la muzica cu un o noua piesa si un nou disc. In Sintesi e proiectul cu care artista irlandenza revine in atentia publicului, insa e diferit fata de ceea ce ea ne-a oferit pana acum.

In Sintesi va fi un EP in limba italiana ce va include 8 piese clasice din muzica de pe peninsula si e departe de stilul dance pop pe care l-am auzit pana acum de la Roisin Murphy.

In Sintesi came together very quickly and I think we all enjoyed the freedom of creating from scratch our own thing, after the weeks of work involved in getting the cover versions close to something we could be proud of. Knowing one’s own recorded version has to stand up against the great music you are covering is a pressure you don’t have when you write. It started like this; “How do you say ‘in synthesis’?

Quite apart from the language, in some of the songs I was on the edge of what my voice can do. For the Mina ones in particular [‘Ancora Ancora Ancora’ and ‘Non Credere’] there were tears and I almost walked away and gave up.”

Ultima oara am auzit de Roisin Murphy in 2013, dupa lansarea din 2007 a discului Overpowered, care a fost foarte bine primit. Fosta membra a Moloko a avut o cariera de succes pana la momentul in care s-a retras din muzica pentru a se dedica familiei.
