Trupa care in 2012 a castiga premiul Grammy cu discul Night Visions, revine cu un nou disc. Imagine Dragons vor lansa anul viitor cel de-al doilea material de studio, Smoke + Mirrors.

Primul single pe care trupa l-a lansat a fost I Bet My Life, piesa care a urcat pana pe locul 53 in Hot 100, pe 5 in Alternative Songs si Hot Rock Songs. Un nou track pe care baietii il lanseaza cu ocazia acestui anunt este Gold, iar fanii pot primi gratis cele doua melodii cand pre-comanda albumul.

\’Gold\’ is one of the last songs written for this album. I came home from tour with my head spinning and decided to run away for a bit to the west coast and reflect/write about the last couple years. If you listen closely to the sample of me whistling into my laptop by the ocean, you can hear a wave that crashed while I was recording it. I loved the take because it seemed to crash perfectly in time. It takes me back to that spot every time I hear the song.

Albumul ce va aparea pe 17 februarie se pare ca va suna diferit fata de precedentul, daca e sa ne luam dupa sound-ul primelor piese lansate. Imagine Dragons au devenit un adevarat fenomen in 2012 cand au lansat Radioactive. La premiile Grammy l-au avut invitat si pe rapperul Kendrick Lamar alaturi de care au lansat remixul pentru hitul lor.
