America’s sweetheart , tanara cantareata Taylor Swift , a dezvaluit fanilor numele, data de lansare si coperta noului sau album, Red.

Luni, in timp ce purta o discutie cu fanii sai infocati in cadrul unui live chat pe YouTube, Taylor Swift  i-a anuntat cand va aparea cel de-al 4-lea album al ei. Titlul discului este Red iar despre motivul alegerii acestui nume , cantareata a declarat:

I wrote a song called \’Red\’ and thinking about what that song means to me… …and all the different emotions on this album they\’re all pretty much about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I\’ve experienced in the last two years and all those emotions fanning from intense love, intense frustration, intense jealousy, confusion, all of that in my mind, all those emotions are red. There’s nothing in between, there’s nothing beige about those feelings and so I called my record that.

Pe album exista si un duet cu britanicul Ed Sheeran, o piesa pe care cei doi au scris-o impreuna. Despre inspiratia pentru Red, Taylor spune:

 I tend to skew in the direction of writing songs about love-related things, relationship- and feeling-related things, that’s where I naturally go. I ended up being inspired by a lot of zero-to-100 then it hits a wall and explodes- type relationships which are so fun to write about, really dysfunctional and not good generally but when you write about them it gives you a lot of inspiration. 

Pe langa piesa care da si numele albumului, exista alte 15 cantece incluse pe noul material al cantaretei. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, pe care Taylor l-a dedicat fostului sau iubit, a fost ales ca prim single si a ajuns in doar 49 de minute pe primul loc in iTunes, doborand astfel recordul stabilit de Lady Gaga cu al sau Born this way.
