Dupa ce fostul sau coleg de trupa, Harry Styles, a lansat un nou single, a venit si randul lui Niall Horan sa ne ofere o alta piesa, de data aceasta mai dinamica, in care sound-ul dominat e al chitarei electrice – Slow Hands. 

“The whole song was pretty off-the-cuff. We wrote this concept about being in the bar. “The first line of the song is ‘We should take this back to my place’ – usually that’s what the guy would say, but we flipped it that the girl would say that, and that’s what she said right to my face. With the song, before we even wrote lyrics, we had this big track and it sounded quite sexy. So we thought that this concept would match the vibe of the song, and I think we might have been right.”

Primul single solo al lui Niall Horan a fost This Town, cu care a reusit sa ajuga pe locul 20 in Billboard Hot 100, insa Slow Hands e diferita ca sound si mesaj de primul sau single. Colegii sai de la One Direction deja i-au luat-o inainte, cel care are, in momentul de fata, cel mai mare succes solo fiind Zayn Malik care a lansat recent Still Got Time.
