Premiile Academiei Americane de film vor fi decernate pe 22 februarie, la Los Angeles. Topul nominalizatilor este condus de „The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, regizat de David Fincher, iar al doilea clasat este „Slumdog Millionaire„, de Danny Boyle.

Angelina Jolie a fost nominalizata la categoria „Cea mai buna actrita intr-un rol principal”, iar Brad Pitt, se lupta pentru rolul de cel mai bun actor.
