Oscar 2022 va ramane in istorie drept ceremonia in care Will Smith i-a dat un pumn pe scena lui Chris Rock care a facut o gluma nesarata despre sotia lui, Jada Smith.

Dupa incident care s-a intamplat in timpul prezentarii premiului pentru cel mai bun documentar, jurnalistilor din camera presei li s-a interzis sa intrebe orice castigator ceva despre ce s-a intamplat pe scena. La pauza publicitara Nicole Kidman l-a imbratisat pe Smith, iar producatorul show-ului a venit sa discute cu Smith.

Will Smith a si castigat Ocarul pentru cel mai bun actor cateva minute mai tarziu si a facut o trimitere subtila la ceea ce s-a intamplat spunand “par ca un tata nebun, cum i se spunea lui Richard Williams, dar din dragoste faci multe lucruri nebunesti”

Marele castigator a fost insa filmul Coda cu 3 premii din 3 nominalizari, inclusive pentru cel mai bun film. Coda este povestea unei fette care este singura care aude intr-o familie de surzi.
