Katy Perry ne ofera o piesa si un videoclip inspirationale pentru Rise, track gandit pentru difuzare de catre canalul NBC in timpul Jocurilor Olimpice de anul acesta.

 

Cantareata nu apare in videoclipul regizat de Joseph Lee, insa vedem, in schimb, momente de la Jocurilor Olimpice din 2012, in care sportivi ca Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt sau Missy Franklin se bucura de victoriile lor olimpice.

Katy Perry s-a aratat incantata de ideea de a folosi aceasta piesa pentru Jocurile Olimpice si a lansat-o acum pentru ca i se pare momentul oportun, in loc sa astepte aparitia unui album. Oricum, e prima ei lansare dupa discul Prism, aparut in 2013. Atunci am ascultat-o cu hituri ca Roar, Dark Horse sau This Is How We Do, care au stat saptamani la rand in topurile muzicale din SUA si nu numai.
